Define the purpose
A shop floor overview will not necessarily capture transaction detail. Map entrances, counter areas, storage and loading routes against the incidents you need to review.
Control access to footage
Decide who can view live images, search recordings and export clips. Separate accounts and appropriate permissions are preferable to a shared administrator password.
Plan for operations
Agree installation access and any interruption to trading. Consider after-hours lighting, recorder security, retention requirements and the process for exporting an incident.
